My commander has 70 cubic feet. That's a lot. I am laying flat and it's only 18 inches off the ground. Very big and very easy to load. Great. How big is the door to get the stuff into the 65 cubic feet? That's the problem.... Hence the cargo door. It's like I need the door to get to the space more than I need the space. The passenger door on the CJ3 is really small and you'll ruin your cabinetry trying to get a mountain bike/big stuff in and out. Best to not try at all.

Cargo door is great for 50 gallon drums and dirt bikes or really big girlfriends!
You are thinking like a guy who has to put everything in cabin. On the CJ or Commander very little except for people go through the door.

Hey nothing wrong with a BBW!
Funny you should say that about vacation homes. I get the urge to shop real estate then realize how stupid that could be. When you have Airbnb and VRBO combined with a plane It's hard to make sense out of buying a vacation home.

For example, I'd rather buy a boat and stick it where I want to be and then just rent a house every time I want to go use it. Makes a lot more sense.

Still, I went through my log book and only 30% off my flights qualify as "jet flights". I still do a lot of 250nm stuff. It's still not quite the right fit for me but I need to do it anyways.

So, you're actually doing it or thinking of doing it? Gonna sell the PC12? If you are, you can go to Greece in that next time.

Jason - invest in some bike bags. I bought some cheap ones from nashbar. You can toss a greasy mtn bike in the back of your new cj without messing anything up.

Putting bike in the CJ means no room for people. It's not an option. The CJ3 cabin is small. Bikes would only fit in the aisle. I don't take bikes apart to put them in the PC12 now. You put them in with wheels on and everything. Unload on the ramp and ride to the FBO.

Yeah. I get unsolicited offers on the pC12 all the time. Regardless, I'd end up buying a new PC12 eventually if I didn't do the CJ3.

Maybe they make one of these racks for the CJ

Do seats come out of cj easily? I sat in a cj3+ at OSH and was surprised at how small it felt, especially until you slid seats into aisle. Guess the trade off is you spend less time in them.
Ashame they can't figure out how to make a pc12 go 330knots. Be very difficult to justify any of the 400ish knot jets at that point. Though I guess that's the point of the pc24
