If one fails, does the unfailed unit have twin engine capabilities? Or would you switch the remaining unit between engines?

I was told during the sales pitch that there is a way to change between engines. Now that the units are in, that capability is not there. I am still hoping, but so far nothing. The fuel quantity issue is very frustrating, and they have an " oh well" attitude.

So that is what I was wondering.. I'd almost think for said redundancy - you'da needed to buy two twin engine models.. but then I couldn't figure out how it would be wired correctly..

Super nice!

You are a smart man for going with two separate engine monitors.

Why? Is it easier to read? I was wondering why he had two, then saw your response.. But now I'm curious.. How much more expensive is it to buy two vs one? Is this normal?

I had two JPIs on my 421 and really liked it.

More intuitive, the extra screen real estate makes for more glancing and less staring.

And redundancy as has been mentioned.

Looks like we are less than 2 weeks from being finished! Antonio at Fort Worth Aircraft Painting did an amazing job. The plane was in his shop exactly 20 calendar days and he went above and beyond to make sure we were completely happy with the paint job. The interior is being completed as we speak and then its time to fly :woot: :woot:

Does Fort Worth Painting have a climate controlled paint booth?

To some degree, yes. They have heat, and use water to raise the humidity if needed.

Made a two hour test flight today. Got a few squawks, but nothing major. Countdown T-minus 15 days until we leave for Cabo?

Looking good Doug!

FYI, I can confirm the plane is gorgeous in person - Even better than the photos make it look.
