You twin guys love to compare your twin props to a twin jet. 2 completely different animals. I see the advantage of 2 in a jet and I have no choice anyways. They don't make single jets.

Username Protected wrote: If you are worrying about the safety of a piston twin, a twin jet is no place for you. I think just the opposite. A twin jet is remarkably safe intrinsically from the reliable engines and the benign engine out behavior. It is MUCH harder to fly a piston twin, IMO. It is probably the most demanding type of airplane to fly. Those who aren't up to flying a twin jet are weeded out by the type rating course for the most part. There is no such equivalent for a piston twin unless the insurance company requires it. Mike C.

As I've said many times before, there are many other things that will kill you other than an engine failure. The twin jet drives that point home with complex systems, higher speeds and more demands from ATC. Yeah. I'm scared. Nice try. Flying to Cabo in PC12 this weekend. This will be my second "coast to coast" this month. How am I doing this? According to you, I should be dead. You should hop in your jet and come meet up. I just hit 1000 hours on my PC12 btw. How are all of us PC12 owners doing it? It must make you crazy.

Are we turning this into a big ballz contest? You'd call me a stalker if I showed up. My Jet, who said I own a jet? Sounds like you'd be more scared if I showed up in my Baron, lol.

Aww. Those are easy! Ever do St. Barth? Aspen at night? Look. Mountains and water at the same time. Oh my god! We're all gonna die! How am I doing this?
