Plane and temporary hangar both disappeared shortly after the pics were published.

It's a captured alien spacecraft. Gotta be aliens. After everything we've been through the last couple years, there's nothing else that could top it.

Aliens.

FLASH!!

"No, Beatrice, that was not an alien spacecraft you saw. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus."

It's not an alien spacecraft; this craft is aerodynamic, and as we've seen from the FA-18 "Tic Tac" videos, they have no need to be aerodynamic.

The bigger question... Accidental disclosure, or intentional head-fake?

There is no way something got left out accidentally for several days. It was definitely intentional. The real question is is it a functional aircraft or just a decoy?

It’s the new HondaJet. They were worried that Crandall might try to take a selfie near it and moved the thing out to Area 51.

The transparent hangar roof is certainly an odd choice. Perhaps it is intended to mess with hyperspectral imaging sensors that could discern the construction material.
