I just went to the website and I priced out the turbo with every option that is the GST, then I added ice and communication and everything I could find including the $60K Xi interior and that came to $950K, full rip not discounted couldn't buy anything else... so why would the 175 hour demo be listed for that same price. Stupid question cause I know the answer.

It's new with a few hours on it. So, apparently still qualifies for bonus depreciation...but that is an eye watering price even for Cirrus.

Think CIRRUS would ever stretch the air frame to 6 seats ?
Think BEECH would ever add a CAPS system to the G36 ?

Not sure that "new" means anything if it includes a plane with 176 hours

The worst 100 hours of my Cirrus were the first 100 hours. After that once debugged was a fabulous aircraft. Not a bad consideration to go with a debugged demo, that still has all the new warranty and new benefits. Personally, I still would probably like to have fewer hours, since they do start needing engine work.... Well like any turbo charged aircraft about mid life. There are a lot of options that you can get on a Cirrus. Put on all the customs, and you are up around 1 million. The reason they are raising prices is that they still can't produce them fast enough for demand. Nice place to be. At a million though, you can get pretty close to a new M350, which is a true most weather cross country aircraft with pressurization. Or start looking at some nice used turbines. I would like to see them get in the 6-seat arena, they should have bought Epic or the Kestrel and could have ruled the world Probably too much competition for their SF50 though.

You have a LOT of options for tat kind of money... even a pressurized twin for less that $200.
Yes, higher maintenance - but you have 750,000 left over for maintenance and fuel - much better value
