Strong work! Congratulations! Who was your checkride with? Have fun with the plane, and please join the Eclipse Owners Club ( http://www.eclipse500club.org). Here's a tidbit I learned only a couple of days ago--like much bigger jets, the Eclipse leaves a contrail! We flew back from Puerto Rico a couple of days ago with another Eclipse, and our routing got us within 5 miles of him at one point, close enough to shoot a photo of his plane at 40,000 feet: Ken

Well, my mentoring is complete and today I did my first solo flight. (Houston-New Orleans) I have to fly with at least 50lbs in the co-pilot seat, which puts me just on the edge of aft CG. I strapped my roller luggage into the seat and that seemed to work out fine. With just me in the airplane (150lbs) and max allowable CG, there is quite a noticeable difference in speed. If you ever need deadweight for the right front seat, I am sure a posting on trip-talk will get you plenty of candidates.
