A better paint job would help a lot. There's a price where this plane would be great, but I'm sure it'll cost double that.

Katana and a few other early models which were based on sail planes had those restrictions. I do not believe they apply any longer. One of the DA42s which would have been an import was grey with a black stripe down the side. Kinda interesting looking actually and gave the plane a completely different look.
