Yesterday, Cirrus announced their plans to begin hiring engineers and to get the jet program going full speed ahead....since the new owners and their "infusion of capital".... That's what the Cirrus CEO said..

I understood the article to mean that the aircraft was put in Williams' hands while our friendly govt decided whether there was technology in the engine that they didn't want the Chinese to have.

They have like 500 of those jets on order, that's like amazing.

I hear Eclipse hat 1200 orders or so. Must have been a raging success.
