Arnie,
There's a gentleman based at Millville, NJ with his own WW2 collection. He was kind enough to let a group from the NE Bonanza society tour his hanger. He has a spitfire (my favorite), P47, Corsair, TBM and more. His mechanic and instructor/pilot, Terry? (not sure about the name) was also very helpful. He must have answered a thousand questions. Unfortunately Terry was severely burned a short time after our visit. The TBM caught fire when he was in the pattern. I understand he's still recovering.
It's really great that these owners are willing to let us get up close to these old airplanes

I've only had the privilege of being in Dr. Buechler's hangar and meeting him once, and he was very approachable, personable...just a regular nice guy.
It's cool to see someone who's achieved the station in life to be able to have his own P51 and really fly and maintain it the right way be a regular guy.

We've had the privilege of seeing his Mustang over the skies of SE Wisconsin for many years.
