I haven't paid a ramp fee in years because you are buying fuel which usually waives ramp fees, and you are buying fuel at a good discount in almost all cases. Parking is more for the jet than the turboprop, but not hugely so.
I have seen cases where a turboprop parking charge is higher than a jet. Not common, but it does exist.
When you stay a long time, say a week, the parking charge can favor going to an airport with more expensive fuel.
For example, fuel is $0.36 more at KVNC versus KSRQ for me, but parking is $140 cheaper per night. That works out to 389 gallons per night, so it doesn't take long to favor KVNC due to the lower parking charge.
