I am more human than most pilots so I always try to put down my flaps shortly after turning on second generator followed with checklist verifying flaps are down and finally touching flaps again when I line up and verifying clean panel.
SIXTEEN SECONDS TO DEPLOY TAKEOFF FLAPS IS A LONG TIME Only time my flaps are up when on the ground is when I leave her at the shop. Otherwise flaps mid. Always screwing on front wing static wicks. Good time to note flap position.

So if have the pot and don't need or want it. Let me know and I'll buy it from you. Matt, I have thought about this, and I may eventually be willing to part with this, but I think I need to have a plan for what I’m going to do with this first. I’ve not had good luck yet finding someplace to build me a replacement. So for the moment, I am back to pursuing this cabinet and maybe fixing it. Daniele has been super helpful and provided some leads to pursue, but nothing concrete has come quite yet. So I figure I will also continue the crowd source info gathering. Here are some pics of my cabinet. I need to figure out how the top thing that holds the coffee urn stays up when lifted up. I can’t quite tell whether the gas struts should be strong enough, or whether there is some kind of prop stand that maybe clips into the center clips to hold it when opened. Not sure where such a thing would attach though. Anyone else have pics (or just a description) of this unit that show whether I’m missing something like a prop stand in there? Do the struts hold it up? Where does the metal insert drain? Where would the overflow tube of the coffee urn drain if I put something in it? Thanks all. There are small hotel-style keurigs that work well and as I recall are "only" 800 watts so you can get away with a 1,000 watt inverter. I also got a DC mini fridge so as not to deal with ice, but it doesn't get very cold in the thin air of the cabin.
