Do the airport Rules and Regs allow you to keep a fuel truck inside your hangar? I've heard that can be an issue at some fields.

we had a smaller version of that built on an F-350 frame, when we lived in illinois. A bunch of us went in on it to have non-ethanol gasoline available. The "informal co-op" consisted of a half dozen plane owners, a few boat guys, and a snowmobile club. We ran several tanks of mogas through it every year. We would drive it around local roads but none of us wanted to test the legality of taking it on the highway to the terminal, so we always had fuel delivered to it at a guy's farm.

There’s nothing expressly prohibiting it. I think the worst case scenario is it lives outside. The nice thing about my airport is I own the land and the hangar and it’s private open to the public.

At my home airport they don't have any Jet A and the city has no issue with keeping a fuel truck or trailer in a hangar. But the city did go after them for flowage fees.

Fuel truck is bad ass

Sounds like something I would do. Spend $50k to save $10k. Haha. JK I am sure it will pay for itself soon enough.

At my former hangar with Signature, the storage of fuel in the hangar was strictly forbidden (except in the aircraft, of course).

There's this which is mandatory for some airports
https://www.faa.gov/documentLibrary/med ... 230309.pdf

And then most muni codes are going to reference the NFPA- https://www.nfpa.org/codes-and-standard ... l?code=407
