Hi, I am looking for some dual in a Skylane -- a restart G-1000 model, not the legacy one. Turbo or non-turbo. I’m based in Southern California, but will go anywhere in the US.
Any flight school would work, as would a private owner who would like some help with his Skylane’s hourly expenses.
I have 300 hours in type (mostly Angel Flights), and would like to get some flight time while I’m getting some medical certificate issues straightened out.
Any leads would be appreciated.

Galvin Flying at Boeing Field in Seattle has a C182T with G1000 in its fleet, and several CFIs there are experience in the make/model. The current C182T is about to revert to private ownership, but another of the same type is about to go online. That's a long way to travel for 182T time (not so long if you hop an airliner), but if you want some experience in the type, including getting in a variety of approaches, etc., it's an option.

Thanks, Bruce, I flew out of BFI years ago and enjoyed the light IMC. Less opportunity for that in SoCal.
