I need to order one of those RAM mount clamps and don't want to drive 40 minutes to measure. Anybody know, with some SWAG accuracy, the diameter of the "control wheel tube"? Alternatively if anyone has purchased the clamp, which one works best? Small Clamp Range: 0.625" - 1.5" Diameter Medium Clamp Range: 1" - 1.875" Diameter https://www.amazon.com/RAM-Mounts-RAP-B ... g=btalk-20Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure I have the .625"-1.5" on my 1968 Cessna 182. I don't believe the control tube is any bigger than 1.500" but I'll check when I'm at the airport this afternoon. Dave

Tom, you just made me realize how spoiled I am to live 3 miles from my hangar. Heck, in small town Iowa i'm 3 miles from anything! sorry I can't help you with your question.
