Here is a New Atlas report on LEAP’s SST as well as its founder and CEO. If you scroll down after reading that article (it’s worth the read) you’ll find this New Atlas article on the Bulgarian Batmobile, a 5,000+ horsepower, all-carbon fiber, electric sports car. Peter ain’t got nuttin in these guys.

If I am remembering my useless relativity lessons properly, the aircraft will skew shorter the faster it goes until it has no length at all when reaching the speed of light.

Yup. But if you just put numbers in the equations, it will get longer if the velocity is IMAGINARY - which seems amazingly appropriate in this case. Username Protected wrote: Does it get longer the faster it goes? Paging Michael Scott...

Yeah, but only from the perspective of an observer on the ground. And who cares what that guy thinks, he'll probably say it was struggling to climb, the engine sounded rough, and then it stalled.

remember these guys get money because they promise incredible results with some new technology and guys with too much money and little thought think they will make a billion if they put money in.
Remember the Eclipse and the Ecomotor.
especially if it looks strange the more money you can get.
