For my plane, with full fuel (148 gallons Jet A), the available load is 408 lbs.

The weight depends very much on the specification of the individual aircraft. If you have all six seats on board, and have radar, deicing boots, speed brakes etc. then 2800 is a typical empty weight. The actual fuel consumption on a high altitude flight averages 24 usg per hour. Very rarely will you want to fly 5.5 hours at a stretch. For a more typical 500 mile trip, you will not need to fill all the tanks, so can expect a further 420 lbs or so for passengers and baggage.
At MTOW, the performance margin is huge, of course, given that no attempt was made to expand the certified envelope.

I was getting motion sickness watching that video. They need to take some pointers from Martin or Baron Pilot on how to film a flight.

Phil Ha, yea... and I am glad they are being built... the P210N Silver Eagle is the best all around single engine GA aircraft ever built in its size/weight class
