I am a bit concerned about the horror stories you hear about these things.
Biggest thing with these is the spring gear will accentuate a bounce nicely. Other than that I’ve found my 120 to be quite stable on the ground after I got the wheels aligned properly.

The ultimate fix is a new $$$$ accessory case and oil pump gears. There are no "serviceable" cases worth messing with. So a lot of owners will remove the oil temperature bulb, pour in some oil, install the bulb and go fly. It primes the pump and it works fine until the next shut down. Sitting for even a couple of hours will allow the oil to drain out of the pump and you have to re-prime again. Giant PITA that costs a fair amount of money to fix correctly. Glenn, is there a correlation between lost prime and aftermarket oil filters?
