You go a few knots slower than an M2 - Figure 380-390 at FL410. Range is totally dependent upon headwinds as you can imagine. I figure I can make a 1190nm trip non-stop about 75% of the time and land with decent reserves (if going into a VFR field that I know).

If you like PL21, it is very similar to the M2. I love the G3000, but I don't have a huge problem with PL21 and in some ways like the industrial look. I do like the fact that I can control my environmental without having to go through a few soft keys and the AP controls are on the aft pedestal next to me. I don't have to lean forward.

My comparison of PL21 versus the G3000 is similar to when I started using an HP48G calculator in high school years ago. Once you figure out RPN its kind of cool to see other people try to use it and fail - and to me, it make perfect sense.

Plus - I will install Wifi on board, so I can get all the situational awareness that I need with an iPad versus an MFD for weather.

Is the xM weather on the PL21 not very good? I looked at a CJ3 the other day with a GTN750.

I do not have WiFi on board but have never had an issue relying on the cam data beamed into the MFD. I also use Garmin pilot and think it’s great connected to the Internet but haven’t been motivated enough to install WiFi though I would if they came out with a reasonable solution.
