You all may have seen my previous post on, shall we say, inexpensive, airplanes.

I’m looking quite seriously at a Cessna 120 but I have not actually sat in one.

If anyone around the Atlanta area (or a little further) has one they would be willing to show please shoot me a PM.

I’ve seen large guys fit fine in them. I think they are a great airplane.

Yeah, but was anyone sitting next to them?

I'm a big guy too and find a 172 about as cozy as I want to get with anyone else.

Go sit in a 150/152. About the same space but easier in and out than the 120/140. Might be able to find a 150 more available.

Maybe cheaper, too. There are a few of the early ones that had a taildragger conversion, making them look like a baby 180.

I’m 6’3 190 and have instructed in a 120 with another adult male. It’s like a 150.

I've owned my 140 for 45yrs. This is a wonderful and efficient machine. It is definitely a stick and rudder airplane, a good trainer.

There’s a 120 or 140 available for flight training at Ace Basin aviation in SC, a little less than 200nm from you. If you can’t find a BTer in the area, might want to check them out.
