Does anyone know of a knowledgeable shop that can assist with a pre-buy in the Florida or Georgia area?

Paul New would be fairly close by (Tennessee) and is a subject matter expert in the Cessna 210 family of aircraft.

He might know of someone closer to you, or might be willing to travel to the airplane.

I used Paul for annuals and other things when I had a 210. Great shop. Paul and his people are very knowledgeable in Cessna airplanes and especially the 210. There are some traps, and many have been on the ground with a gear that would not extend with either the normal or alternate system. Also very common to find broken ribs in the horizontal stab, due to people pushing the tail down to move/ turn the airplane. Trim tab subject to corrosion.

When I talked to Paul about a month ago he said he had eleven 210's in his shop being worked on. Definitely the place to go for the best in 210 knowledge.

I had my pre-buy done a number of years ago by Interstate Turbine Management in Charleston, SC. They don't specialize in them but are reasonably knowledgeable.

Check with S&S Aviation at KCNI. They are C400 series specialist but maintain several 210's as well.

I’m not close to Paul New, but flew him to Canada to look at my P210 before I bought it. Best money I spent. Can’t say enough good things about him and his knowledge.

Paul is a great guy. I wish I would of had him look at my last 210 before I bought it.

I'm headed to Paul in 10 days for annual.
When I bought it, I got the seller to fly it to Paul's shop for the prebuy. Guess who won on that? . He definitely gets the gear right,(love our doors) which is problematic for many good shops that are more generalists.
