A ‘59 Cessna 172 on a ‘68 VW Bug chassis. Only $25,000. On Craig’s list in Fallon, NV.
Looks like fun!

Bring it to Idaho or Montana for a License ;) :D

Funny thing, though..........a 59 Cessna, probably had a Hell of a Lot more Heat & Defrost, then a 59 Bug :bugeye: ;) Ask Me How I know? :D

Yeah, I had a '59 Bug in college, and I KNOW mine had a "working" defrost/heat knob: meaning that if I turned it hard enough, fast enough, and long enough, the heat radiating from my hand/wrist would marginally warm the car. Otherwise, the only effect was to cause the CO detector to change colors. LOL

I don't think they ever improved. I had a '68 in the early 80's. I remember coming back home on a country hwy in light freezing rain, or maybe light snow, and putting my hand on the windshield until I couldn't see out the other place where I'd removed my hand. Over and over.

In the Nevada desert you don’t need windshield wipers...
