This is a small island we found in the Skykomish river in Washington, had my friend land first in his Cessna 170 to check if the surface was smooth enough for my plane.
Although it was short I applied brakes smoothly because hard braking is what makes rocks go up and damage the horizontal stab.
For take off also smooth power delivery to take care of the prop.

That bush going under the wing solves the universal question as to which is better, high or low wing.

Low fuel warning light,had about 18 gallons , I programed the light to turn on at 6 gallons.
This gravel bars are about 6 mikes from the airport
