Has anyone here flown one of these. I saw a clone several years ago at Weslaco,Tx.- was an impressive airplane. Maybe Doug Rosendal will chime in?

I can't answer your question as I have never flown one. Though it is my absolute dream to do so. Once I land one, I'm done!

This one has a lovely livery, based on the Normandie-Niemen, a french-russian squadron.
I'll let you look into it if you have time, but the stories are fantastic.

This squadron did so well that at the end of the war, Stalin gave the Yak3 as gifts to the french pilots.
When they landed here, the government requisitionned them
