Ok.... So my strictly VFR airplane might be able to have a 3x installed?
If yes, what instruments need to stay in my strictly VFR airplane?
Would the 3X be able to replace any steam gauges I currently have?
Does the 5x STC replace anything at all or just a backup?
Trying to ditch my vac gauges / pump....lose the dead weight!!!!!

The primary flight and engine instruments required by FAR have to stay (or be replaced by TSO'd gauges). So a picture's worth a thousand words... The coms, transponder (ADS-B), and audio panel are all remote from the G3X Touch. There will be two iPads, the Pro shown, and a Mini on the yoke. The Gaurdian 680 will allow me to select frequencies through the Mini via BlueTooth...(and a whole lot more). The auto pilot isn't approved yet, but I'm saving a place in the panel for it.

Thanks Jim. Is the 3x approved for remote items? If so, This is the solution I have been looking for.
