I think Ken said pro parts and Tap Blue were $550/hr in the CJ. That seems pricy compared to the KA but honestly I don't know what it is costing me so I need to run those numbers.
The V carries more, has 150nm better range and is about 1/2 the price. Find out what Proparts and an engine program will cost on a 560. If you can even get it. Dispatch reliability will be less and some parts are hard to find. 560 is fine today for a low utilization private owner. Or for a charter operation with dedicated maintenance. You will find there are good reasons 300+ hrs/yr corporate operators have sold their 560s and bought CJ3/4s.

I think you will find the engine programs are double the cost on a V (or any JT15 powered Citation as well as the Bravo engines) vs. the FJ's or new generation Pratts. That's why few subscribe I suppose but the cost is real. The legacy planes like the V are great but at any given moment you could face a $200k engine repair. The market prices them accordingly.

Sorry. CJ4 info was all I had access to at the time. But, as you can see, they are more closely aligned.
