It looks great. I have been thinking of doing something similar.
Were the upgrades all STCs? Did you do the work or have someone help?
How long did it take?
Is there a club site to help get ideas on the Citabrias?

Just your thread Rick. That takeoff was awesome at Fresno Chandler. Is the exhaust different? Sounds great.

Nope... Stock exhaust. Just a few more horses under the hood then the average one.

Thanks

Rick
That thing is cherry.

Get up here and take a little mountain flying class with my guy. You'll go to a bunch of strips on the salmon. You are welcome to stay here each night. You can then fly the 4 nm to the airport to pick up the instructor then it's only 30-40 nm to about a dozen or so strips.
You ought to at least bring that beauty to the pig feed.
Congrats.

Thanks Mike. I'll definitely take you up on the CFI mountain flying. I've been trying to figure out the logistics of the pig roast because our annual guys trip is the following weekend. We'll be up in your neck of the woods that following weekend if you'd like to join us for a couple days of airport hopping.

If it wasn't for creditors and obligations a guy could have a lot more fun.......
