Both, I was stationed at Walker AFB in 1958, SAC B52's in Roswell, NM. It was closed down around 1962 and it is now a GA airport. Those New Mexico winds can really blow.

Under Gen. Curtis Lemay I don't remember it being called the "BUFF".
