Those are GREAT videos!

As far as the spikes are concerned, they are automatically controlled on a "Mach schedule". They can also be manually controlled.

This is a very good book on the operation of the Blackbird. Highly recommended!

What an awesome plane. Good thing they never took it to an ABS service clinic, bet they would freak with fuel leaks like that! :duck:
