Eclipse should have only sold the 135 package. The dual quick done masks and the bigger tank are the only way to go. That little co-pilot mask door is stupid design, on an otherwise awesome airplane. I heard Eclipse test pilots used to play a game in the non-quick-done mask versions. They'd challenge the copilot to a cabin air dump. See if you could get the door open and get the mask on before you passed out... I heard... Warren PS - of course it would be free with a purchase. They are clearing out the last of the DayJet 135 refurbs...

Yes, 550s are new planes BUT at least the early 550s are being built from previously (2008) part-way assembled 500s that were left on the assembly line when the lights went out on the old company. That's not really a big deal though, as the 550s built and A/W issued with 500 gear, then that stuff is removed and the 550 'update' done after certification. That may change at some point, but last I knew that was the way it was being done.

Ted, We where both wrong
I checked and the dump switch makes the cabin go to 13.5k
Warren
It's been over a year since I was at ABQ but when I was there the first ground up plane was nearly ready for wings.
There still was a stir welding rig there for the fuselages and they where doing the painting there.
Hill-aero painted the early Total eclipses
