When you have a chance, please post your thoughts on operating costs (fuel, fees, etc) on the sane route -vs- your Baron.

Thanks,

Warren

Are there any sane routes in a jet? I think about it a lot but then I think I would be nuts... :D

Seems to burn double the gas for almost double the speed...kind of a wash especially when jet is a buck a gallon cheaper than 100ll. Have not yet had any terrible maintenance bills but still could happen.

Eclipse is about as affordable as a jet could get. $400ish an hour direct, maybe $800 all in.

I loved my baron but could not imagine going back.

Mike
