Interesting. Impressed that this is a viable proposition. Surprising that the airframe doesn't have enough value to preclude this.

Many of the Bonanzas and Barons are worth considerably more for their parts than as an airworthy plane! That spread will continue to grow over time.

That is good. Removing planes from the used market stabilizes prices on the ones that remain while reducing the cost of operating them.

I don't think so. If you can buy a $100k collection of parts for $50k, people will start snapping them up as a business proposition. Supply and demand will keep the delta minimal.

As more planes go to the bone yard in the future, the parts supply will increase and plane values will go down. One bone yard in my area is turning down certain models, because they already have more parts in stock than they can sell in the next ten years. In the future some A/C values will be ZERO.
