I thought I'd add some comments answering questions I've received, mostly about the diesel engine:
* This is an engineered diesel, not a converted gas engine. It is a 2.8L Duramax Turbo Diesel.
* This small diesel does not have the black smoke and smell associated with the bigger/older diesel engines
* The vehicle has the trailering package, including tow/haul mode, trailer brake controller, hitch, wiring, and exhaust brake. It is rated for 7700 pounds
* Servicing the engine is not much different than a gas engine. Regular oil changes and topping off the DEF tank is the normal service.
* It actually gets 30-32 mpg on the highway, and 25 mpg on normal day to day driving.
* From a cost perspective, the mpg is about 25% better than the gas version of the Colorado, while diesel prices (in my area) are 14% higher than gas, thus providing an overall fuel savings.
Thanks for looking!
