2009 One ounce, Quarter ounce, and Tenth ounce seem to be selling at the coin premium 10% above the published gold market price of $1818 (today) per ounce.
I like to use Kitco.com for reference selling prices. They sell with the premium for small pieces, but buy Private Mint at the melt discount. Humph. Fine for the big boys.
This design is a tribute to the first metal money, the Lydian Lion. The Lydian Mint, of Michigan, offered about eight [edit: eleven] products before closing in 2012, as best as I can tell. I am still seeking the 2012 silver ounce for my own collection.
