 I sold all my film cameras years ago.

Yours are great. Wonderful lenses. I bought my first Nikon in 1970. :bugeye:

Thanks Tom.

I have always enjoyed cameras. Started with an Argus C3 in the 50s. In the 70s it was an Olympus OM-2n. When good digital cameras came along I started with a Nikon D70.

I have had these two a couple of years but recently inherited a Nikon D850 from the gentleman who, although only a few years older than me, was my high school English teacher in the late 50s. Very interesting chap. Grew up with Lowell Thomas in Victor, CO, although quite a few years younger than Lowell they were close friends. He went on to join the Navy and fly AD-1 Skyraiders in the mid 1950s. After teaching high school english for a time in Colorado Springs he got a flying job supporting exploration in the Amazon. Took a lot of photos of the indigenous peoples. Later Lowell sponsored him for membership in the Explorers Club.

He passed away in Feb. and wanted me to have his latest camera. Since I shoot less photos than I used to I do not need 3 cameras.
