Mitsubishi CS-40509 color TV.

I bought this new back in 1999. Works great and hardly used with remote control. Its a 40" color CRT screen TV and is probably around 250 LBS. I am looking to give it away. You would need to pick it up. Located in Marlborough, MA

Price $00.00

If someone local doesn't claim it, you might donate it to Goodwill (or something like that) and get a deduction.

At least in my area, charities won't accept tube tv's at all. It's been that way for at least 10 years. You might look for an electronics recycler, or household hazardous waste collection site.

Also had one of these. Worked perfect and when we moved I unfortunately couldn’t give it away. Called a recycling place and they came and took it. Seemed a shame since it worked so well for so long…

I bought one of those a few decades ago as my first "large screen" TV. When I replaced it with a larger LCD TV I couldn't give it away and I ended up hauling it to the county recycle center and paying them to take it.

Curt,

In May I placed an ad on Craigslist here in Syracuse for 3 free CRT tv’s that I wanted to get rid of. A kid here in town responded and actually collects television sets (I didn’t know that was a thing). I did reach out to him but, sadly he says that you’re just too far away. Anyways, if you haven’t already, perhaps a similar ad on Craigslist would work for you locally.

One man’s trash…. You never know

John

Put the remote control on Ebay, and for what you sell it for, pay the recycling company to take accept the TV.
