This 1972 BMW R50/5 "Toaster" is powered by a numbers-matching 498cc opposed twin paired with a four-speed gearbox and features shaft drive, chrome side panels, a two-up seat, period Krauser panniers, and a variety of period accessories. It has 76,800 miles on it, strong compressions on both cylinders, smooth shifting transmission, and a differential and drive shaft service was done about 4 years ago. It needs nothing.
Excellent running and riding condition with new tires, newer cables, fresh points & condenser, recent carb cleaning and sync. Fully serviced and ready to ride - an oil change was carried out within the last 100 miles and I will include two kits for your next oil changes
This R50/5 is offered with a tool kit, a tire pump, a BMW rag, spare keys including a “nail” key, service manuals, and a clean Oregon title in the my name.
I do love this bike, but I do not ride it often and it deserves to be enjoyed and ridden!
$5800, thoughtful offers certainly considered.
