2002 Aprilia Futura RST-1000

Bike is in great condition with low mileage for age. Has custom racing shock (wilbers) and the forks have been re-valves / springs changed for more performance riding.
Tires have less than 1k miles.
Staintune pipes and reprogrammed fuel map.
Sprockets / gears less than 1k miles.
Runs great, solid V-twin that has a very comfortable seat, panniers and double-bubble windscreen. Also includes an extra set of Mille forks and rotors as well as bar risers.
Has heated grips and throttle-lock. Honda voltage regulator.

These are unique bikes with good character, handling and looks. Reliable Rotax motor and fantastic sound.

I don’t ride it enough and am thinking about moving to the adventure-bike setup so would consider trades for a GS or KTM Adv. or an older F-150 that my 14yr old son and I can tinker with.

I have about 200 miles on one and these were just solid and fun performers. A client took one in on trade years ago and I have regretted not buying it. I bought a Multistrada instead and I am not sure I made the right decision.

Very good (great for "stock") seat and riding position. Good handling and a great engine with linear power delivery. And there aren't 1,000,000,000 on the road. Looks like you did the right tweaks to it.

Good luck with the sale as someone will have a lot of fun with this.

I'm a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it...Thomas Jefferson
