Just thought I'd give this a shot. Trying to help a friend and WWII veteran out. He's just gone into assisted living at the age of 95. Sold his Aircoupe last year. Worked on airplanes in WWII and has been an active A&P mechanic and IA pretty much ever since. He's asked me to sell the van he drove every day. It's what you'd expect for a vehicle that sat under cover in Florida year round. Between the love bugs, sun and some paint off the rear bumper and door handles it looks OK from 20 feet away. The pictures really make it look a little better than in person. Tires are worn on the outer edges but tread in the middle is good. A/C works great and it runs good. When I picked it up the check engine light was on and it didn't run real good. Some critters chewed the crank sensor wiring while it was sitting at the retirement community. After repairing that it runs good. Has a backup light and a couple interior lights out. Cruise control, CD player, power seat, door locks and windows all work. A friend and I chipped in and installed a back up camera for him. Interior isn't shabby and pretty clean. This van would be great for an ex son-in-law who wrecked his car and doesn't have any $$$ so you're going to have to buy something he can haul your grand kids around in. A vehicle to leave outside at the airport next to your favorite university 200 miles away where you like to fly your crew into to go to football games. Something to park out back when you just want to haul about anything (stow & go seating) and don't want to mess up your Lexus. I thought about having in my hanger in Punta Gorda to loan to friends who fly in on Allegiant and need something to drive. I want to get my friend as close to the asking price as I can so don't make any low ball offers please. I think it's a pretty fair number. I winter in Florida and live in Indiana and wouldn't hesitate a minute to make that 1100 mile drive home in it. Call me with questions 937-238-4383. Thanks
