Spring is almost here...vette time!

March and April seem like the longest months of the year here in San Diego. Not vette time yet...

Chuck, I thought it was always sunny in Southern Cali...hence making it all year topless time!

My Brother has a 50th Anniversary Z06...
Museum delivery and all that...

He's excited about the C8.
I told him that it's a young man's car.
He looked a little puzzled, then I explained that generally speaking. the front engined Ferraris and considered a man's car, a touring car, something you can take on a trip... more refined, storage etc...
Whereas the midengined Ferraris are considered boy's cars...not so practical, no real storage, etc

So I consider this midengined Vette, all midengined cars, a boy's car...
Nice for the afternoon, but that's it.

Having owned a few Ferraris from the 348 through the F430, I strongly disagree. There is storage, but you have to use common sense. Wives need to understand that the luggage compartment needs to hold your stuff also. There is additional room behind the seats too. The handling is vastly superior to the Corvette, and driving it is a lot more fun. However, there is no cruise control, or other touring features on the pre 458 Ferraris. The reason most aren't used for touring is that they sit in the garage, and the owner claims he has one, but doesn't drive it. Most 5-10 years old Ferraris have less than 2k per year on them.

Well! I never considered a Corvette; somehow it didn’t appeal to me. BUT I have my number for a gray C8! And am I excited about it! :bugeye:

If only GM didn’t go on hiatus; but I understand why they had to.
