Aircraft: B 55. C182 Citabria You should watch this Utube Video first.

4 Bedroom plus studio, 3.5 bath, 2 car garage, plus cellar, living 2900 sq. Ft. On 16.2 fenced acres. Engineered foundation, simulated log home.

My wife and I built this home for retirement in 2008. It is located in the Davis Mountains between Alpine and Marfa, Texas at an altitude of 5000msl. It has fantastic views of the surrounding mountains from every room, it is located in Sunny Glen Canyon which was developed by the Gage Ranch in the 1980’s. It is only a 10 mile drive to Alpine from the house, Alpine is the area hub, 6000 population, includes Sul Ross State University, grocery stores, True Value Hardware, McCoy Lumber Co, and the closest hospital.
The Alpine-Casparis Municipal Airport can be seen from the house, about 10 miles as the crow flies E38.

We also have a fairly new 50 x 60 Hangar, 48 x 14 Bifold door, insulated, heavy power, great lighting, restroom and office, located at the airport. We can make a package deal.

We have since returned to the North Dallas area and purchased a home 5TX0 Hidden Valley Airpark, ailing parents, new grandchildren, weddings and funerals is the reason, 500 miles was to far for the family to travel.

The house has been appraised at $710,000 we are asking $690,000......The Hangar is priced at $135, I said we could do a package deal.

It is hard to explain what a beautiful location this house has, my wife made a habit of feeding 25-30 deer a day, the back of the house faces North to hundreds of open mountainous acres. The star gazing is unbelievable, McDonald Observatory is about 25 miles north of the house.

The house is listed with Mountain View Properties of Alpine 432-837-5518, our realtor is Jamie Gray,

But feel free to call or email me with any questions, of course they will receive their commission regardless how a sell would be initiated.

The house is also listed on Zillow and Trulia with many pictures.
