Hi all - So does ANYONE still use a slide projector anymore? If so I have available a Kodak Carousel 760H projector and 8 spare carousels along with a metal slide organizer box. One of the last remaining items from my dad's estate. Turns on and the fan and mechanisms work, looks like it just needs a new projection lamp which can be had for ~ $20. Niche item I know, but worth a shot! These go for around $150-200 on ebay and slide trays go for around $7-10 each.
If I add all that up as a ballpark (throwing in the metal organizer), I get around $206 - estimates on the low end of ranges to accommodate the lamp. I just want it gone, so do your research and make a reasonable offer. $206 obo.
Pickup only, in North Texas - KSWI or KGYI.

Pickup only, in North Texas - KSWI or KGYI. I had about the same set up from my parents and put it on Craigslist. It took several weeks but sold it to someone in PHX for $50 a few months ago. I think I bought it for them as a Xmas present when I was in college around 50 years ago. Like you I just wanted it gone.

Thanks Bob - to be clear are you saying you took that amount for the projector and 8 carousels? It'd be preferable if any mention of $ came from a prospective buyer I hear ya about just wanting stuff gone... if anything it has also inspired me to get rid of some of my own excess, and buy less crap. I can't fathom leaving someone else with this chore.

And then there is that devilish BT rule about posting pricing for items listed for sale.
