Some sellers do not wish to allow discussion within their Peddler Talk listings. Fortunately, there is now a way to disallow discussion that will still allow you to update your own thread with new information as necessary.

You can lock your Peddler Talk thread in two ways:

1. Lock When Posting

When posting the New Topic, select the "Lock topic" checkbox below the body of the post. When you click Submit, your new topic will automatically be locked and no replies will be possible from anyone, including the original poster.



2. Lock Your Existing Listing

If you wish to lock a topic after it has been posted already, simply click the "Go" button next to the "Quick-mod tools: Lock topic" at the bottom of the thread.



Please note that if you, as a seller, choose to allow discussion in your Peddler Talk thread, there is a risk that the discussion will wander in ways you find undesirable but do NOT violate the BeechTalk Terms of Service. These posts will not be removed, even upon request, so please consider carefully whether you wish to allow discussion before posting your listing in Peddler Talk.
