If you're thinking of upgrading your old rotating beacon light consider the AeroLEDs SunBeacon LED beacon lights. They come in all LED red or an all-white color with a couple different bases. For most Beech applications you will need the optional KIT-0049 3.75" mounting cup. These beacon lights are about the same size as the Whelen Orion 360 LED beacon lights (so pretty small) and can use your existing wiring for fairly straight forward installations. They come with a 5 year warranty and are FAA PMA/STSO/STC approved for Beechcraft aircraft.

A nice feature about these beacons is that you can sync the flash to other SunBeacon beacon or the AeroLEDs Pulsar and Suntail wingtip position/anti-collision and tail position anti-collision lights. They do not have sync capability with Whelen products.

I have an excellent inventory of these LED beacon lights in 24V and 12V in all-red and all-white. Most Bonanzas will need the 3.75" mounting cup. Some Barons can take this beacon too.

The SunBeacon has been a popular choice amongst other LED beacon lights for Bonanzas and some Barons. I have them in all-red (my personal favorite) and white too. Most of our Beech aircraft require one with the 3.75" mounting adapter cup whether it is fuselage mounted or installed on the vertical stabilizer.
