This is from the "sticky" generation. (The used cheap hard plastic and made it feel better with a coating that turned gummy/sticky over time.). It can be removed easily with 90% isopropyl alcohol available at Walmart for $3. I have de-stickered the battery box. Some parts of the headpieces are still original.
Headset is cosmetically somewhat rough. Needs new earcups/headrest kit available from Lightspeed for $60. Has some electrical tape covering junction between battery box and plugs. Missing a small trim piece on the ear.
