Avidyne IFD540 with tray. Removed last month. Very nice condition. Located at KCMA

These are great units and a great idea if you have a 530 to slide into. I love my IFD 550.

Anyone know how difficult the 530 to 540 swap is? Programing, function checks, autopilot, ??? Thanks.

Jim N819HP Very easy. You can slide one out and install the new. The main difference in wiring is for audio alerts. Take notes or photos of the 530 configuration settings and use those for the 540.
