Sidewinder, one battery, charger and wall mount. $1600 plus freight. Works on Bonanzas, Barons and Travelairs. Works great I just have no need for it now. Can be picked up in Indy or Jacksonville Florida.

PM me if interested

Anybody have any experience with the sidewinder on a fully loaded B58P? I've got a power tow (electric) and it does the job...*barely*. Wondering if the sidewinder is better for the job or not. It would certainly be more portable.

Yeah it works for my Baron 58. Even heavy. You HAVE to have a solid battery. A weak one would work for the a36, but not the Baron. Mine will push it over two tracks that the doors slide on no problem.

Big plus is it’s portable and compact so it can fit in the nose baggage.

The key to using a sidewinder is proper nose tire pressure. If tire is low it makes sidewinder work harder.

Not fully loaded, but it can certainly move my 58P on level ground with 190 gallons in the tanks. Strong tension between the Sidewinder and the nose wheel is essential.

Going up a slight incline is also possible, but I haven’t tried it with the plane fully filled up. Even with partial fuel, the Sidewinder unit got quite hot, but it did the job.

I used a sidewinder on my 58P for years. Never a problem. Now I have one for my seven thousand pound Duke. Still no problem. Different adapter though...
