Selling my little used Axis In-Ear Headset. Headset was originally purchased in August, used on 10 flights in a light jet. Super lightweight and comfortable, just not my style for the jet.

The pictures show my custom ear molds (not included LOL), but I'm including 3 pairs of NEW medium size Comply tips. Everything else that came with the headset is included and in new, unused condition.

Are the custom molded inserts just more comfortable or better sound reduction?

I can't speak for the OP but my experience with other "in the ear" headsets is that a good custom molded plug provides both improvement in comfort and noticeably better noise reduction.

This will fall under the category of "too much information" but for those of us who have oily/waxy ears, the comfort and noise reduction of a custom molded earplug will be much more consistent than when using "foamies" as the foam absorbs oils etc from inside the ear and, over time, both the comfort of fit and the noise reduction are reduced.

Yes, a good pair of custom ear molds makes wearing these very comfortable! I would recommend them to anyone using in-ear headset.

This whole headset is comfortable, I just need something with Bluetooth, so sticking with Bose Proflight.

I have the same headsets and highly recommend them for an in-ear style, much better quality and comfort than the other two manufacturers (which I tried both).
