Arctic Air REAL A/C system. This is the actual Freon compressor portable air conditioning system. Comes with controller, wiring harness with Anderson plug and duct flanges. Blows cold. 28v only. (Pictures show up sideways on here but when you click on them they are correct.)

I used this in my Mooney Acclaim this summer and its blows cold air. In the Mooney it does take up most of the baggage compartment so after experiencing a pleasant summer flying with A/C, I am now planning to go with the installed Mooney OEM Air Conditioning or the Kelly A/C system.

Local pickup preferred in rural Fredericksburg TX. Or if you need it shipped I would estimate $100 to ship it. If it's less to have them box and ship then you'll pay less. Cash or Zelle preferred.

How much did install cost, and do you have a good installer in Texas?

It seems like this is an orphaned product… wondering if I should be concerned by that how heavy is it? Need to see if w/b is even possible in the Bo.

This is a portable A/C so you don't "install" it.

You could hire a reasonable A&P to install an "accessory power outlet" to a 60 amp breaker with a compatible Anderson plug. You would simply plug your portable device into that outlet, also making sure that exhaust air exited into the empennage and that any condensation is routed out through the belly. (See the pdf in the advertisement.) Weight is around 40 pounds.

Hey Lance, in your experience do you think this would be strong enough for a twin bonanza cabin?

I've never been in a Twin Bonanza, but it cooled down the Mooney Acclaim nicely. Just remember this is a 28v unit. I'm guessing your Twin Bo is 14v, but I'm not sure.

TwinBo is 28v. I have this unit in mine and it works great. Mine looks bigger than this one though.

Your unit is the -400, Adam. Two outlet hoses. The one for sale is the -200, single outlet hose.
