I just had my Aspen EA100 and ACU (Analog Converter Unit) removed as part of an autopilot upgrade. $1,500 for the EA100, $400 for the ACU. I will bear "cheap shipping," but ask that recipient pay for shipping if 3-day, 2-day, or 1-day service is required. Photos, click thumbnail to view full-size: ACU, view 1: ACU, view 2: ACU, view 3: EA100, view 1: EA100, view 2: EA100, view 3: PFD/MFD selector switch, dimming switch, AHRS FAIL lamp, view 1: PFD/MFD selector switch, dimming switch, AHRS FAIL lamp, view 2: Edit 1: added price to title and body text, removed statement about being too lazy to set a price up-front. Edit 2: was in a hurry, meant to set 2 separate prices, one for ACU and one for EA100. Fixed. Edit 3: added photos.

So, if you don’t get a good price,IYO, you would put in trash before allowing someone to have it, is what I read.
Why not give it away if trashing it?

I guess I'm being lazy, but apparently, I'm also breaking a rule.
I'm not saying I would trash it out of spite or anything like that, but there's overhead in researching a price and setting it, and prioritizing the incoming questions and offers, and then wrapping it up and boxing it and sending it off.
So, not setting a price upfront was due to laziness and uncertainty as to whether the items I have for sale are even of interest to anyone. There's a glut of old autopilots and related equipment coming from GFC500 and other upgrades, just as there are lots of panel instruments out there due to the big panel upgrades.
My comment on trashing is a simple fact: I don't want to put a lot of effort into this. I'm not looking for a "good" price, I'm looking to see if anyone will pay me enough to make it worthwhile to negotiate, get address, get payment, go to UPS Store, etc. I'm somewhat indifferent to whether these items sell or not. I guess better to see them used than in a landfill.
Does that help? Have I somewhat redeemed my faux pas and proved that I'm not quite so horrible a human being as it might have seemed?
All that said, I will now edit my original posts and prices on my items, since PM's have impelled me to set prices for them already anyway.
