SOLD

This was a replacement unit that Dynon sent me in April 2020. It has had about 250 hours of use since then and is in near perfect cosmetic and perfect working condition. Just the head unit, does not include anything else. It does have the internal battery which was also new in 2020. This is a good spare if you have a D10A. Selling because I removed the D10A system from my plane.

SOLD

PM sent. Can this be used as a backup for a new skyview hdx system?

Garry, see this thread from 2019. It works but has some caveats. Dynon did mention they would potentially resolve them in the “future”.

https://forum.flydynon.com/threads/d10a ... tem.12285/

Edit- from Dynons website currently:
Question: Is the EFIS-D10A required as part of the STC? Can I use a different backup instrument? What if I opt for two SkyView HDX displays?

Answer: The EFIS-D10A serves as an independent backup to SkyView HDX. It is required by the STC, even if you opt for multiple SkyView HDX displays. It can not be substituted by other instruments.

According to dynon the d10a listed here is for experimental aircraft only. I need a different part number to use as a backup in my bonanza.

All you need is a sign off. I had one in my bonanza for like 10 years. Many people have them, full 6pack backup with battery.
